It is eight o'clock by the time you get home from class, the rice isn't washed yet, and you are already starving.
When you'd use it: put in the rice and water before you go out and set the time, and there is hot rice waiting when you walk in that evening; at the weekend, make sweetcorn and pork rib soup, or steam Chinese sausage and fish; press reheat for leftover rice and it is still soft.

Capacity: 3L is the water capacity, which holds up to about 5 cups of uncooked rice; a whole chicken will not fit, so cut it into pieces.
