COOKBAY is a Chinese home-kitchen brand for Chinese communities and international students living in the UK, Germany and Australia, run by the UK company COOKBAY LTD. When you live abroad, the kitchen is the place that feels most like home — we sell the things that make that kitchen work: a pot that cooks rice properly, a machine that makes hot soy milk in the morning, an electric pot for hot pot night.

What is COOKBAY?
COOKBAY (cookbay.org) is a Chinese home-kitchen brand for Chinese communities and international students living abroad, run by the UK company COOKBAY LTD. We sell Chinese small kitchen appliances — rice cookers, electric pressure cookers, soy milk makers, electric steamers, electric hot pots, infrared ceramic hobs and health kettles — plus cookware, home essentials and Chinese foods, shipped from local warehouses in the UK, Germany and Australia.
Where do orders ship from, and how long does delivery take?
UK orders ship from our Birmingham or Nottingham warehouse. Most orders within mainland UK arrive 1–3 business days after dispatch, via Royal Mail, UPS or Evri. Our German warehouse in Emmendingen ships by DHL to Germany and the EU. Our Australian warehouse is in Sydney. Each product page states which warehouse it ships from; delivery to your address and shipping costs are confirmed at checkout.
Will Chinese appliances work in the UK, Germany or Australia? Do I need an adaptor?
Each product page states the plug type. UK-spec appliances have a UK three-pin plug. Appliances marked as China-market versions have a Chinese two-pin plug and come with a CE-certified UK plug adaptor. The adaptor changes the plug shape only, not the voltage; these appliances are rated 220V, and mains voltage in the UK, Germany and Australia is 220–240V, so they work directly. China-market appliances from our German warehouse come with a German plug adaptor; appliances from our Australian warehouse have an Australian plug or come with an adaptor that fits Australian sockets.
Do appliances come with a warranty?
Electrical appliances come with a 1-year limited warranty from the delivery date, covering manufacturing defects and hardware faults in normal home use, such as heating failure or panel faults. Please check the box contents and condition when your order arrives. If something is wrong, email cookbaychubao@hotmail.com with your order number and a short video or photo of the issue; we will check it and offer a repair, replacement or refund. Appliances brought in through our group-shipping service (BoatWish) carry a 6-month warranty.
Can I return an item?
Yes. You can return an unused item in its original packaging within 14 days of delivery for any reason; return shipping for non-faulty items is paid by the customer.
