An Almond Cow or a Nutr grinds cold and leaves you to heat the result. A nut-milk bag leaves you wringing pulp out over the sink. Neither will make doujiang (fresh soy milk), because doujiang has to be properly cooked: raw soy tastes green and beany, and the only way past that is to grind and boil in the same vessel. That is what this machine does.
Dry beans go straight in. No overnight soak and no straining, because thirty-six steel blades take the beans fine enough that the milk is smooth as it pours. Under half an hour from a handful of beans to a hot jug.
The hood is the reason to choose this one. A blender with this much power is usually brutal at seven in the morning; the acoustic hood brings it down to around 38 decibels, roughly a fridge, which is quiet enough to run in a flat with someone asleep the other side of the wall.
The same jug makes oat, almond and sesame milk, black sesame paste, congee (rice porridge), sweetcorn drink and hot blended soups. 1.8L is six to seven cups, so it covers a household in one go and keeps itself warm afterwards.

About the control panel
The labels on this machine are in Chinese, and it announces its progress out loud in Mandarin. That is normal for an appliance built for the Chinese market, and it is also why it grinds and cooks in one jug when the machines sold here do not. There is an English guide to every button below.
