Want to keep using familiar Chinese small appliances in a UK kitchen? This small adaptor lets them connect to a UK three-pin socket, making it easier to set up your kitchen when you have just arrived in the UK.
Where it fits: connecting rice cookers, electric cooking pots and other small appliances brought from China, whose rated specifications suit UK mains power, to a UK socket; it also packs away easily when moving house or travelling. Check the appliance rating plate first, then choose an adaptor that matches its pins and power.
What it does: converts the plug pins to UK three-pin; it does not change voltage or frequency and is not a transformer. Please check the input socket against the actual product and your appliance's pins, and make sure the plug sits firmly when connected.
Buying and use notes: make sure the input voltage on the appliance rating plate covers the local supply range, and check the appliance's power against the adaptor rating and what the socket can take. Appliances marked 110V only cannot be connected to UK mains with this adaptor alone; check ratings carefully for high-power heating appliances, and do not overload an extension lead shared with other high-power devices.
Specs: UK three-pin plug | adaptor socket | each approx. 3.5 × 2.8 × 3.6 cm. Ships from our Birmingham warehouse.
