Doujiang (fresh soy milk) is a breakfast drink, and breakfast is usually one person. Most machines that make it properly are built for a family, which means either drinking a litre and a half yourself or pouring most of it away. This one holds 0.8L, which is a mug and a top-up.

It grinds and heats in the same jug, which is the part a blender cannot do. Dry beans go in without an overnight soak, ten steel blades take them fine enough that nothing needs straining through muslin, and what comes out is hot and smooth rather than raw and beany. No nut-milk bag, no pan on the hob afterwards.

It runs quietly, and being small it washes up in a moment, which matters more than it sounds: a machine you have to dismantle over the sink is a machine you stop using by the second week.

Beyond soy, it handles oat and nut milks, black sesame paste, and a hot rice congee (rice porridge) thin enough to drink.

About the control panel

The labels on this machine are in Chinese. That is normal for an appliance built for the Chinese market, and it is why it grinds and cooks in one jug when the machines sold here do not. We are photographing this model's panel so we can publish a full English button map here. Until it is up, message us and we will send you the English guide before you order.
